Melanie started dancing at a very young age. Apart from Ballroom and Latin American dancing, she has been trained at Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz to a 'reasonable' standard (Please be aware that in Donald's dictionary, 'reasonable' means really really good! Just ask their pupils).

 

She was involved in various local theatre productions, performing at a very young age on the same stage as the likes of Kate Winslet and finished with a diploma in Performing Arts, which barely accounts for her all round knowledge of all forms of dancing.

 

If Donald represents the serious side of the partnership, Melanie is the fun and amiable one, fully engaging the younger members of the school and meticulous to details on getting things right.

 

During the days when she is not teaching, she deals with all communications and administrative work of the school.
